Hello I’m Denise
I help women to find work they love and get on track to create amazing success in their lives.
My career coaching sessions are designed to help you get to the heart of what you really want, explore the possibilities (there are always more than you think) and map out a doable plan of action to get you there.
How I got here
Before I became a career coach, I was a journalist, a digital copywriter and before that an executive assistant in the corporate world. I’ve had plenty of jobs that offered great potential and opportunities, many of which I enjoyed.
But I wanted to feel useful in a more meaningful way (us INFJ types need to feel useful).
I looked long and hard to find the right career.
Finally at 41 it clicked with me that this was the work I was meant to do.
I’m devoted to helping others create the right mindset for success, find work they love and earn top dollar for it too.
Because of my history I have a deep empathy and understanding for people experiencing the confusion and loss of confidence that go hand in hand with career dramas.
If you want to change jobs or careers I’m here to support you.
I have a postgraduate qualification in careers education and development and I’m a professional member of the Career Development Association of Australia.
A few more things
I’m from Ireland but I’ve lived in Melbourne, Australia for over a decade. My favourite things include watching Netflix (I love TV), writing and working on creative projects, reading all kinds of books (everything from thrillers to personal development), crystals, handwritten cards, interior design and hanging out with my three-year-old son.
One of my favourite pieces of wisdom comes from 13th century poet Rumi, who said:
Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.
I hope that you love what you do today.
